Q: How does the money get from me to the charity?
A: The donation amount is added to your wireless bill. When you pay your bill, the
wireless company forwards the funds to The mGive Foundation. We collect the funds
and remit 100% to the recipient charity.
Q: Is this only a one time donation?
A: Yes. However the donor may text the Keyword to the shortcode multiple times (and
confirm those texts with YES reply) and donate multiple time if he/she so desires.
Q: I sent STOP to the relevant shortcode (ex. 90999) but keep getting messages,
why?
A: The system will automatically send out a confirmation message when it receives
a STOP message. If you send STOP multiple times, you will receive the STOP
Confirmation message multiple times.
Q: I received the following error message:
Your carrier is not participating in this campaign.
A: Unfortunately at this time your wireless carrier is not accepting donations for
this campaign.
Donation Limit Reached
A: Carriers limit the amounts users can donate to each Keyword. You have received
this message because you have reached your maximum amount of donations allowed.
You will not receive addl msgs or further charges from (Charity Name, ex Red

Q: Can I cancel my donation?
A: Once a donor has confirmed with YES The mGive Foundation cannot reverse or cancel
the donation. Please contact your wireless carrier if you would like to dispute
or cancel a donation.
Q: Why does it take 90 days for my donation to reach the charity?
A: Due to users having different billing cycles it can take up to 30 days before
the carrier collects the funds from the donor. Once you pay your bill, your carrier
sends The mGive Foundation your donation. 100% of your donation is then wired
to your chosen charity.
Q: I don’t have text messaging. Can I donate via Credit Card through The mGive
Foundation?
A: No. At this time we are only able to process donations via text. You may
contact the charity directly to make a donation.
